Nationale Milieudatabase documentation
==================================================================

Welcome to the documentation of the Nationale Milieudatabase (NMD), a database
that provides detailed information on the environmental impact of products and
materials used in the Netherlands. This documentation is intended to help
users effectively utilize and understand the NMD Data Infrastructure.

The :ref:`Conceptual Model` section provides an overview of all entities
relevant to the NMD Data model and how they are related with respect to one
another.

The :ref:`Logical Data Model` section provides a detailed description of the
specific models used in the NMD, along with their associated attributes and
relationships. The Logical Data Model section forms a reference for the actual
implementation of the data structure, including all properties and data types.

The :ref:`Access Management` section outlines the policies and procedures in
place to ensure that users can access the data they need while maintaining the
security and integrity of the database.

Finally, the :ref:`Applications` section provides information on the various
applications and tools available for referencing or interacting with the NMD.
These applications enable users to easily access, manage and utilize the
information.
